About Us

Hi! We’re the tiny team of four behind Little Munchies: 2 humans and our 2 cats Starfish and Bonsai! And if you’re here, chances are you’ve got a treat-loving furry friend (or two) in your life—just like we do.

Little Munchies is a small business born out of love—and a little bit of necessity. It started when one of our cats, Bonsai, developed a food allergy to chicken and grains-some of the most common allergens found in pet food! Since then, we had to always check the ingredient lists on the back of the pet food and treats we get.

We quickly learned how difficult it was to find truly simple treats—ones without fillers, flavorings, or mysterious "meat derivatives". Just because your pet has an allergy to certain ingredients doesn't mean they have to miss out on treats!

So, we got to work.

We poured our heart into finding high quality treats one ingredient at a time. That's when we discovered freeze-dried treats—real, high-quality meat, gently freeze-dried to preserve nutrients and flavour. Not only are they perfect for pets with allergies, they are tasty too! What began as a solution for our own cat’s health became something bigger: a line of wholesome, single-ingredient treats that other pet owners could trust too.
